Chief Executive Officer - Bill McClymont

Joined Scottish Power in 1977, where he held many substantial Management positions. As Managing Director, he launched Core Utility Solutions and revolutionised the way in which the new connections business operated in the UK.

A Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Bill is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (formerly IEE) and a Chartered Engineer.

Director - Ken Stewart

Joined Scottish Power as engineer in 1992 from GEC Scotland.  Held a number of Senior Management positions throughout the Scottish Power Group. An integral part of the management team that formed Core Utility Solutions, where he held the position of Director.

Trained in Engineering, a Master of Business, Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and a Chartered Manager.

Director (Electricity & Gas) - Mark Cummings

Mark joined ScottishPower's Graduate trainee scheme in 1991, after completing a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering. He held various Engineering posts, within the Power Systems division. With the formation of Core Utility Solutions, he held a number of Senior Management Posts, laterally as Major Projects Manager responsible for Scotland.

A Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and Master of Business Administration.

Senior Management

Both Energetics & Energetics Design & Build have an enviable team of highly experienced, competent  managers and engineers. Many have come from the main utility DNO’s such as Scottish Power, Transco and Scottish Water together with leading personnel from ICP’s such as Core Utility Solutions. These leading figures in the utilities industry, instill innovation in all our employees enabling Energetics to establish itself as a market leader in the utility sector.

Engineering Personnel

Our companies have a diverse range of professional engineering and construction personnel. We have a complementary blend of experience and innovation in  design and project management with proven track records for delivery of utility projects. These key personnel are ably supported by teams from our finance, procurement,commercial and administration departments.

Construction Operatives

We have a business that believes in employing our own staff, right through to construction and civil's work, supported from time to time by specialist contract staff where necessary.
